Effective Date: 1/2/2025

This Shipping, Delivery and Pickup Policy outlines how orders are fulfilled on the Africaribana Go platform, operated by Africaribana Businesses INC.

Africaribana Go connects customers with independent restaurants, grocery vendors, and delivery partners. This policy explains how orders are delivered or picked up and the responsibilities of each party.

By placing an order through Africaribana Go, users agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Platform Role

Africaribana Go operates as a technology marketplace platform connecting customers, vendors, and independent delivery partners.

Africaribana Go does not prepare food, manufacture products, or operate restaurants or grocery stores.

Orders are prepared by independent vendors and may be delivered by independent delivery partners.

2. Delivery Availability

Delivery availability may depend on:

• Vendor location
• Customer location
• Delivery partner availability
• Operational hours of vendors

Certain vendors may only offer delivery within specific geographic areas.

If delivery is not available for a particular location, customers may select the pickup option where available.

3. Delivery Time Estimates

Estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.

Delivery time estimates may vary depending on:

• Vendor preparation time
• Traffic conditions
• Weather conditions

• Platform service fees

All applicable delivery charges are displayed during checkout before the order is confirmed.

5. Order Preparation

Vendors are responsible for preparing orders accurately and within the estimated preparation time.

Vendors must ensure that:

• Orders are packaged securely
• Items are properly labeled
• Food safety standards are followed

Delays in preparation may affect delivery times.

6. Delivery Process

Once an order is prepared, it may be assigned to an available delivery partner.

Delivery partners may:

• Pick up the order from the vendor
• Transport the order to the customer’s location
• Confirm delivery through the platform

Delivery partners operate independently and are responsible for completing deliveries safely and professionally.

7. Customer Delivery Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that:

• Delivery addresses are accurate
• Contact information is correct
• Someone is available to receive the order

If a delivery partner cannot complete delivery due to incorrect information or customer unavailability, the order may be marked as delivered.

Refunds may not be available in such situations.

8. Contactless Delivery

Delivery partners may perform contactless deliveries when requested or when required.

In these cases, orders may be:

• Left at the door
• Left at a reception desk
• Placed at a designated delivery location

Delivery confirmation may include delivery photos or delivery confirmation logs.

9. Delivery Issues

Customers experiencing delivery issues should contact Africaribana Go support as soon as possible.

Delivery issues may include:

• Delayed deliveries
• Missing items
• Incorrect orders

Resolution may include refunds, replacements, or credits depending on the situation.

10. Failed Deliveries

A delivery may be considered failed if:

• The delivery address is incorrect
• The customer cannot be reached
• The customer is unavailable to receive the order

If delivery fails due to customer error, refunds may not be issued.

11. Delivery Risk Transfer

Responsibility for an order transfers to the customer once:

• The order has been successfully delivered, or
• The delivery partner confirms delivery at the specified address.

Africaribana Go is not responsible for loss or damage occurring after delivery confirmation.
